ABOUT Sara Chasse

Sara Chasse

Sara is a recipient of Presidential Honors at Riverside City College and graduated with highest honors (Great Distinction). Sara is alumni at Jacobs School of Music Indiana University Bloomington, California State University Fullerton School of Music. Her mother, Ruth always made sure she had all the lessons she needed and wanted. It was that kind of devotion that allowed Sara to learn so many instruments as a youth. Sara has performed in youth orchestras under the baton of the late Skitch Henderson, the father of the New York Pops and successor of (the great Maestro Arturo Toscanini) the post of NBC The Tonight Show (with Jack Paar and Johnny Carson ) as orchestra conductor. Skitch needed a harpist for the Orchestra and was highly impressed with Sara's musicality on harp (at the time she was playing trumpet). Sara has also attended Bavard Music Center Summer Camps.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

CORE VALUES

/

01

Sara places emphasis on education, appreciation of quality music, music as a therapy for healing; we teach, edify, and aspire for excellence to success.

Quality music education with active participation and critical listening skills contributes to better math and science comprehension, builds ethics in character, self-esteem, self-reliance, improves brain development, logical reasoning and rational thought processing, fine motor skills, hand and eye coordination, courage and over all smarter students.

Research has proven that professionally trained music students excel in their academics. Studies also show that quality music education not only decreases stress (which is toxic as it is the source of major illnesses e.g. heart attack), but quality music listening and engaged practicing of music and lessons increases an indivindual to healthier and happier more fulfilled living.

TRADITION OF DIVERSITY

02

/

Not only do Sara's students learn how to be proficient players of their instrument, they also become caring individuals who respect other cultures and become leaders for a healthier and brighter future.

Sara teaches students with disabilities with proven results of improvement and healthier and happier lives for everyone in the home.

HISTORICAL PERSPECTIVE

/

03

Throughout world history, music has been the universal language. Music bridges what the spoken language can not. It removes boundaries between peoples.  Since 2008 and before Sara strives to bring classical music education to all. Recognizing that for many, a music education is out of reach she volunteers countless hours to help those in need and with a desire to learn.
